I like making salmon in the air fryer because it is just so fast and easy. We love the flavor of the spice rub, too.

Air Fryer Salmon Recipe

Air fryers are very popular, and it's no wonder because there are so many foods that you can cook in them. Fish is especially good!

Salmon is a perfect food to cook in the air fryer. It comes out moist and flaky, and doesn't take very long. You can cook a little or a lot, and make a delicious, healthy meal.

How to Choose a Salmon Filet

• I prefer wild caught salmon for the best flavor.
• Select a filet that has an even thickness so that when you slice the pieces they will air fry evenly and be done at the same time.

How Do I Know When the Salmon is Done?

I highly recommend checking the internal temperature with a meat thermometer (I prefer an instant read digital). Salmon is done at 145°F.
You can also tell by checking the color. Raw salmon is translucent and reddish. Cooked salmon is an opaque and more of a pink color.

Can I Use Frozen Salmon?

It is always better to cook fresh for the best quality, but if you are going to cook from frozen, it's not that difficult.
• Yes you can. Set the salmon into the preheated air fryer and brush the marinade over the frozen salmon fillets.
• Cook as you would fresh salmon. Check the temperature to ensure doneness. Add more time if necessary.

Leftover Salmon?

If you happen to have any cooked salmon left over, you can add it to some cooked rice or put it on a salad.
