Peach Simple Syrup really is simple to make! The taste is so fresh and amazing! Use it in drinks, Peach Iced Tea, cocktails, desserts, and sauces.

Peaches again! I love them, and want to share some wonderful recipes that you can make with this amazing Summer fruit. Peach Simple Syrup is one, so tasty!

I have many favorite peach recipes from Fresh Peach Cobbler to Peach Upside Down Cake, or even a Sparkling Peach Cocktail!

This Peach Simple Syrup is a gorgeous color, and tastes better than it looks! My favorite way to use it is to make Peach Ice Tea! Try it, you will love it!

Use Peach Simple Syrup in cocktails, desserts, to make Peach Ice Tea, and more! Fresh peaches make this simple syrup even more special!

Ingredients
  • 2 Fresh Ripe Peaches
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Slice peaches and put in a small sauce pan.

  2. Add the sugar and water and stir.

  3. Heat to a gentle boil, stirring and smashing the peaches a bit. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook for about 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat, cover and let sit until cool.

  5. When cool, strain and keep in a container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Recipe Notes

Store in a covered mason jar or other container in the fridge.

      No I haven’t. I’d be careful and do it in small increments so it doesn’t boil over.

    Yummy!!! I decided not to strain it at the end. I’m using it for pancakes, so..peach chunks in my syrup..yummmmmm :). Thanks for this recipe!

      No I haven’t as sugar/sweetening in a concentrated form is the goal with this recipe. Otherwise it will be just water and peaches. You might try honey, or maybe even Swerve, or other 1:1 ratio sweetener if you are trying to avoid sugar. For artificial sweeteners and honey, I wouldn’t add until after you have cooked the peaches and they cool down quite a bit.
