Crostini are toasted bread ready for yummy toppings. We love it for Bruschetta!

Crispy, yet not hard. These Crostini are delicious as they come out of the oven, or topped with tasty condiments, like Whipped Feta Spread, or Olive Tapenade.

See my post on how to make Bruschetta, a delicious and easy party food, or appetizer. Your guests can make their own, and customize them, as it’s so versatile. You can make it year round, so this recipe is a winner!

Crostini are toasted bread ready for yummy toppings. We love it for Bruschetta!

Cook: 8 minutes
Total: 18 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 16 oz Loaf of French Bread
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions 

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Slice bread on the diagonal in about 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Brush with olive oil.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, until bread is just starting to turn golden.
  • Remove from oven and let cool.
  • Top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

You can rub a raw garlic clove on the unbaked crostini, after the olive oil, for added flavor.
