Easy Baked Meatballs are full of flavor, and ready in under an hour. Add these homemade meatballs recipe to spaghetti sauce, make a meatball sandwich, or eat them on their own over mashed potatoes or with rice or noodles.

Homemade Meatballs Recipe

Meatballs are so easy to make and you can use them in many recipes. This homemade meatball recipe is very flavorful and takes less than an hour to make.

Ingredients in Easy Baked Meatballs

• French Bread Pieces – Or use Panko bread crumbs
• Milk – Whole or low fat
• Ground Beef – Or use ground turkey
• Seasonings – Kosher Salt, Black Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes, Marjoram, Thyme, Oregano, Basil, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder
• Grated Parmesan
• Eggs

How to Make Meatballs

1) Add the ingredients to a mixing bowl and combine them using your hands.
2) Form meat mixture into 2-oz balls and place on a baking sheet pan.
3) Bake for 23 minutes, then let them rest for 10 minutes before serving or using in a recipe.

How to Store Meatballs

Refrigerate: Keep the cooled meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Freeze: Place the cooled meatballs in a freezer baggie and freeze for up to 3 months.

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups French Bread Pieces, torn
  • ⅓ cup Milk
  • 1 ½ lbs Ground Beef, lean
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon Marjoram, dried
  • ¼ teaspoon Thyme, dried
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, dried
  • ½ teaspoon Basil, dried
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ⅓ cup Grated Parmesan
  • 2 Eggs
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 400°F.

  2. Tear the French bread into small pieces and put in a large bowl.
  3. Add the milk and mix together.
  4. Add the meat, spices, parmesan, and eggs. Mix together gently, using hands, until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Form into 2 oz balls*, (a little larger than a golf ball), and arrange on a sheet pan, a couple inches apart.

  6. Bake for 23 minutes.

  7. Remove pan of meatballs from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes

Serve over pasta, with sauce, in a soup, or on a sandwich.

*If you want more/smaller meatballs, make them 1 ½ oz.

 

Serving size is one 2 oz meatball.

    These are the easiest and most tasty meatballs ever! I have made them several times. My husband loves them and I get nothing but compliments when I serve them to company! So moist and delicious! Thanks for sharing!

    I love these meatballs! I never knew you could bake them! Great flavor in these. We had some with our spaghetti and I froze the rest.
