- 4 medium Hass Avocados, peeled, pitted. mashed
- 1 ½ Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice (about ½ small lime)
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2-3 cloves Garlic, pressed or grated
- 3 Tablespoon Cilantro, finely chopped
- ½ small Red or Sweet Onion, finely diced (3 Tbsp)
- 1 large Roma Tomato, diced
In a bowl, mash the avocados using a fork so they retain some texture.
Add the lime juice, salt, garlic, cilantro, and onion. Stir well.
Fold in the tomato.
For best results, cover with plastic wrap (with the wrap touching the guacamole so no air gets to it) and let stand for 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
To serve, uncover, stir gently, and transfer to a serving bowl.
Enjoy with tortilla chips, vegetables, or as a spread on wraps, tacos, burritos, etc.
- If adding tomatoes, remove the seeds and juice to avoid a watery guacamole.
- To store, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to minimize air exposure.
