Classic Hummus Recipe
Classic Hummus is a dip that goes well on pita bread, chips, and vegetables. Also makes a nice sandwich or wrap spread.

- ¼ Cup Tahini
- ¼ Cup Lemon Juice
- ⅓ to ½ Cup Warm Water start with 1/3 cup
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Can Garbanzo Beans
- ½ tsp Ground Cumin, adjust to taste
- Pinch Cayenne Pepper
- 2 tsp Olive Oil, plus more for garnish
- Pinch Salt, adjust to taste
- Pinch Pepper, adjust to taste
- ½ tsp Paprika
Add everything to a mini food processor and pulse several times until well blended and smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning as desired, add more water if you like it thinner, and pulse a few more times (if you made adjustments).
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, parsley, or toasted pine nuts.
