Air Fryer Dog Treats
Make your doggie some amazing treats in the air fryer! Make them soft or crunchy, either way, your furry friend will love them! Nutritious and safe ingredients.

Equipment
- Bone or Dog Themed Cookie Cutter
- Rolling Pin
- Parchment Paper
- Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 2 ¾ Cups Flour
- 1 Cup Pumpkin Puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
- ⅓ Cup Peanut Butter* (unsweetened, see notes)
- 2 Eggs
Instructions
- Add the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and eggs to a large mixing bowl and mix until fully combined.
- Add in 1 cup of flour and mix until combined. Add in another cup of the flour and mix until a doughy mixture forms.
- Knead the dough by hand and add the remaining flour as needed, until the dough reaches a soft, but not sticky or crumbly consistency.
- Lay out a large piece of parchment paper and sprinkle lightly with flour before dumping the dough onto the prepared surface.
- Roll out with a rolling pin to about ¼-inch thickness.
- Cut out as many cookies as you can with your cookie cutter (I used the bone shape) and set aside on a cookie sheet or similar dish.
- Line the bottom of your air fryer with parchment paper and place as many treats as you can, in the bottom, without them touching. I was able to fit 6-7 at a time in my particular air fryer.
- Cook on 370° F for 4-5 Minutes or until just lightly browned on the top. Remove and let cool before feeding to your dog.
- Repeat until all treats are done. Store in an airtight container away from moisture and heat.
Notes
Important Tips
- If your air fryer doesn’t let you set it to 370°F, use 365°F, or the next closest temperature. Cook time may need adjusting.
- Each air fryer is shaped differently and can hold varying amounts. You will most likely need to cook in multiple batches.
- Be sure not to let any excess parchment paper go up the sides of your air fryer. You want it to lay flat on the bottom, or it may fold over the treats.
- For softer treats, keep the cook time as listed. For a crunchy treat, increase cook time by three minutes or until the treat has reached the right consistency. Be careful to not burn the treat.
For a Small Batch
- You can make a smaller batch of these dog treats, just cut the recipe in half.
- If cooking only a couple at a time in a larger air fryer, the treats may try to curl as they are thin.
