Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz) pkgs Gelatin (peach makes the best color)
  • 1 ¾ cups Boiling Water
  • cup Cold Water
  • 1 (12 oz) can Fat Free Evaporated Milk
  • 1 Brain Mold

Instructions

  1. If you have a brand new brain mold, wash it in warm soapy water and then rinse & dry it thoroughly.

  2. Spray the inside of the brain mold with cooking spray. Stabilize the brain mold in a bowl so it doesn't tip over. Set aside.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the Jell-o in the boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

  4. Pour in the cold water, stir.

  5. Pour in the evaporated milk (make sure it is Fat Free!). Stir well.

  6. Then pour the gelatin mixture into the brain mold*.

  7. Chill until set, usually at least 2 hours.

  8. To release the Jello brain from the mold, gently shake it to loosen it before inverting it onto a plate. It should plop down onto the plate. If not, shake it again and invert again.

Recipe Notes

*Different brain molds may hold different amounts of the gelatin mixture.
