Ingredients

  • 2 cups Dill Pickle Slices
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 large Egg
  • ½ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickles and let them dry on a towel. Pat both sides dry.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch and set aside.

  3. In another bowl, whisk an egg and set aside.

  4. In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  5. Dip the pickles into the flour, followed by egg, then the panko breadcrumb mixture.

  6. Place each coated pickle in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400° F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Optional: Halfway through cooking, open the air fryer and spritz some oil on the pickles. Then continue cooking. This will help them get a little crispier.

  7. Serve hot with mayonnaise, ranch, or other dip.
