Ingredients

  • ½ cup Whole Milk
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 medium Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Finely Grated Orange Peel (optional)
  • 5 slices Thick White Bread (day-old is best)
  • Spray Oil

Optional Topping Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Maple Syrup
  • Fresh Berries

Instructions

  1. Begin the recipe by combining the whole milk, heavy cream, eggs, melted butter, kosher salt, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.

  2. Dip the bread slices into the mixture and set aside on a parchment lined tray.

  3. Line the air fryer with perforated parchment paper and put the bread slices into the air fryer. Air fry for about 8 minutes at 330° F (air fryers vary, so cook times may also vary).

  4. Repeat the process until all the bread slices are cooked (the time will vary depending on how many slices you are making).

  5. Top with butter, optional maple syrup, and berries.

Recipe Notes

If you have a larger air fryer, you can make more quicker. Much like making pancakes in a skillet, the size determines how many you can make at a time.
