Ingredients

  • 16 oz Frozen Peas, partially thawed (or fresh)
  • 1 cup Diced Smoked Turkey Breast*, (leftover is great)
  • 6 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, cubed
  • ½ Small Red Onion, finely minced
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • cup Sour Cream
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Dill Weed, dried
  • Pinch of Kosher Salt, to taste
  • Pinch of Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Put peas in a bowl and add the turkey, cheese, and onion.

  2. In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and the seasonings. Stir well to combine.

  3. Pour dressing over the salad and mix until all of the salad is coated.

  4. Cover the bowl and put the salad in the fridge to develop flavors for at least 30 minutes before serving.

  5. Serve chilled.

Recipe Notes

*You can also use cubed ham or cooked bacon in place of the smoked turkey.

Use any cheese that you like. My favorites are Cheddar, Mozzarella, Swiss, and Gouda.
